I seen many comments online where people who have tried affiliate marketing claim they got scammed.
After looking into this topic more…
It seems that the people who say this fall into 2 categories:
1- They don’t understand how affiliate marketing works
2- They didn’t create an ‘income producing activity’
In truth we are not just affiliate marketers, we are either content creators who drive traffic to our links or paid advertisers who drive traffic to our links.
My Simple Formula To Make Up To $500 In A Day With Affiliate Marketing:
1- Targeted Traffic (people who are looking for what you are selling):
Without targeted website traffic, you won’t get any leads and your earning potential is dead in the water.
2- High Converting Make Money System:
This system must have a high converting sales video that will do the selling, telling and explaining for you.
Good converting systems should convert at a 2% conversion rate as a good rule of thumb for ‘average’ systems.
I think this is the point that most new marketers fail at because they think most people who visit their sales page of the product they are promoting and think that most people will buy.
That’s not the case!
Stay tuned to the end and I will share one with you that has a 16% conversion rate based on my statistics inside the system.
People who have seen your sales video or sales page fall into 3 categories:
-Won’t Buy (they don’t fully understand the benefits of your product or just don’t like it).
-Can’t Buy (they are in places like Nigeria where some people are wealthy and some people are poor but unfortunately most payment processors don’t deal with that specific country.
-They buy (after first seeing your sales presentation or after getting follow up emails from you).
3- Email Follow Up:
Most people won’t buy your product until after seeing it at least 3 to 7 times.
Most people take very long to make decisions.
Having an email follow up software like get response will allow you to create an email list and sell to them over time using email marketing.
4- Video Marketing (if you are on a budget):
This is the your job as an internet marketer online selling affiliate products (other people’s products).
We call ourselves affiliate marketers but in truth we are content creators who KEEP driving traffic to our links.
How Many Videos Per Day Should You Make?
Pick (2) Platform from the image above and create 3 pieces of short form content daily.
Conclusion:
Most people who ‘try’ affiliate marketing come up with their own conclusion.
Some see others who have more experience than them making consistent money online and get jealous.
Others claim they don’t have the time to commit to the process, get pissed off and call it a scam.
And others (3%) who have their back against the wall commit to the process and see it out until they succeed.
When I first got started making videos on youtube, I did it from my job (trucking yard or even cab of my truck and even while walking my last dog Rico.
At the end of the day, affiliate marketing success can be experienced by anyone who commits to the process, has patience with themselves and most of all stick to a long term plan of 1 year or more.
