Intercove Trading Platform The Company:
There is no information about who owns or runs this system on their website.
What you are dealing with is a case of ‘anonymous’ experts:
Their domain used to be intercove.net but that site has now offline and they have started up under a new domain (inter-cove.net) that has been privately registered on December 4th, 2024:
Intercove Trading claims to trade in:
- Forex
- Indices
- Stocks
- Metals
- Crypto
- Energy
There is no proof to back any of this up.
Intercove Trading Platform License and Registration:
The Good News is they have a Policy in Effect:
Intercove now has policies in place to deter people from laundering money. These policies include:
- Ensuring clients have valid proof of identification
- Maintaining records of identification information
- Determining that clients are not known or suspected terrorists by checking their names against lists of known or suspected terrorists
- Informing clients that the information they provide may be used to verify their identity
- Closely following clients’ money transactions
- Not accepting cash, money orders, third party transactions, exchange houses transfers or Western Union transfers.
The Bad News is this protects them but doesn’t seem to protect potential investors.
Since they have an Australian Phone number and most traffic seems to be coming from Australia, these guys would need to get registered with the ASIC (Australian Securities Commission):
Unfortunately they are not registered with the ASIC nor the UK FCA to legally offer and investment opportunity that supposedly pays out returns to investors.
Conclusion:
This is another Crypto Trading Scam.
Why do I say this?
Too many red flags:
1- Anonymous Owners
2- No Proof of Trading
3- Not Licensed or Registered
4- No Proof of Expertise
5- Company Reps contact potential investors / victims through whatsapp and messenger (no real investment firm will contact random strangers on messaging devices
How The Intercove Trading Scam Works:
- Helpful Company Reps contact people using whatsapp and messenger
- They entice potential victims to invest
- They payout small returns to entice investor to deposit larger amounts
- Investors get excited after seeing that they’re making money online
- They invest larger amounts
- They are show ridiculous numbers on a screen
- They try to withdraw
- They are asked to pay even more money
- They never get to withdraw
