wxb3cy.com review

Read this Review on wxb3cy.com where one person claims they lost over $290K of their own money in this fake exchange before you become the next victim.

wxb3cy.com The Company:

There is no information about who owns or runs this crypto currency exchange on their website.

Their domain was privately registered on December 8th, 2024:

According to them…

They claim that over 7.5 Million Users have joined (even though they have only been in business for less than 2 months!?).

wxb3cy.com traffic stats:

You would have thought that an exchange that has over 7.5 Million Users already would have ‘enough’ traffic stats to show up in website research tools but it seems that these guys have almost next to nothing in traffic.

wxb3cy.com Investor says they lost over $290K in what they are calling a ‘fake crypto exchange’…

wxb3cy.com

According to this user, they deposited their crypto into trades and was allowed one withdrawal before their account was locked until they paid another $200K to raise their account ‘credit score’.

I asked the investor on reddit if they actually invested $290K or if these losses were just ‘hyped’ up earnings (money on a screen etc):

wxb3cy.com investor lost over 290k

They claimed they invested over $290K of their own money.

When I first saw this thread on reddit, I thought to myself that something seemed fishy.

Who would deposit over $290k of their own money into a very ripe and shady looking website that was a supposed exchange?

Then another reddit user seemed to have thought the same thing…

wxb3cy.com crypto exchange scam

I asked the investor in question to give more details and this is what he said:

wxb3cy.com fake exchange whatsapp scam

I originally deposited maybe 25000 and made some gains. As time went on I let my guard down and was urged to increase my principal so bigger trades could be made. I then proceeded to add more over 6 weeks and that amount to totalled about 340k.

They originally deposited $25k and made some ‘supposed’ gains. As time went on they were urged up their initial deposit to see bigger returns and eventually the total in deposited funds were over $340K.

By this time the fake principal balance was over 2 million so I withdrew like 68k. I had no problems withdrawing it that one time. So my original transferred money minus the withdrawal is $290k.

The scammers showed them fake gains of over $2,000,000 to pump them up. The anonymous scam admins allowed them to withdraw $68K (of their own money) to entice them to deposit more.

Then I tried to withdraw more and this is where the scam was revealed that I needed to pay $200k to bump my account “score” to be able to withdraw anything else. I was incredible lucky to be as me to withdraw what I did on that first time.

They released $68k (which surprised me), showed them over $2M in magic money on a screen in hopes of getting them to deposit more but finally this investor wised up that this was a scam.

How Do These “Fake Exchange” Scams Work?

  • Random people are hit up on whatsapp, messenger or some other messaging app by ‘Professionals’ (also known as network marketers who get paid a commission or fee to convince investors to make deposits.
  • Investors are shown ‘crazy numbers on a screen’.
  • They are allowed to make smaller withdrawals usually in the beginning to entice them to invest more.
  • Excited investors drop down larger amounts
  • Investors try to withdraw again
  • Fake Exchange Scam Admins ask investors to pay large fees to ‘increase their account credit score’.
  • Some investors wise up and realize they got scammed
  • Investors accounts get blocked and the professionals (network marketers behind the screen disappear).

If someone hits you up on whatsapp or messenger, they are not ‘professionals’ and you are getting involved in an awful scam.
